Dear members of St. Stephen’s:
Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ.
I have been honored to consider your invitation to serve by divine call as an
associate pastor of your congregation. You have been most helpful in giving me a
good understanding of what you expect and require from a pastor. Nevertheless,
my decision is to return the call to St. Stephen’s and continue serving at Redeemer.
The Scriptures teach that the Lord will provide you with all that you need for body
and life—and especially for your soul’s salvation. While God is yet to reveal his
timing, I am confident that he will provide you with the shepherd you need.
