Bible Studies

• Men’s Sunday Night meets Sundays at 6:30pm in the meeting room above church office.
• Women’s Bible Study Group will resume meeting on Wednesday nights at 6pm .
• Monday/Wednesday Bible Study will resume tomorrow, 
  January 14^th with a study focused on 1 & 2 Peter.

Leftovers?? Twice Is Nice in Jefferson will accept donations of clothing, household items, toys, books, dishes, etc. All these donations help to benefit Lakeside Lutheran High School. You may bring these items to the church office. Volunteers take them to the store.

Hospital Reminder Your pastors love to bring God’s comforting Word to our hospitalized members!  All hospitals however, cannot let the church office know unless you call us or ask them to call us. Please do not hesitate to call.

St. Stephen’s Ladies Aid members will be sending cards of encouragement along with a monetary sum to our congregation’s college students, ministry students, and military men and women.  If you would like your son or daughter to receive this gift, please let the church office know by email to office@ssbdwels.net in the next few weeks.  We will need their name and address.  Donations from the congregation will be collected Thurs., Feb. 7 and Sun., Feb. 10 and again on Thurs., Feb. 14 and Sun., Feb. 17.  The cards will be assembled and mailed by members of Ladies Aid on Monday, Feb. 18 (snow day, Feb. 19).  The amount they receive changes from year to year; the enjoyment they get from receiving a thoughtful message from their congregation never dims.

Labels and Boxtops We are continually collecting Boxtops for Education and  Milk Moola bottle caps or bags from Kwik Trip.  Collection containers are in the church basement or send them to school with the children. Thank you for your donation! 

Annual Voters’ Meeting has been set for Sunday, January 27^th, at 1:15pm.  The annual report of congregation activity for 2018 will be reviewed, and elections will take place for congregation boards.  Please see the blue preview insert in this week’s bulletin. 

2018 Offering Statements can be emailed or printed for anyone in need of the documentation for tax purposes.  Please sign up in the back of church or email office@ssbdwels.net if a statement is needed.  All that signed up last week can pick their statements up in the sacristy.

Family Game Afternoon will be hosted by PTS before the voter’s meeting on Sunday the 27th.  We will meet and play in the school gym.  We will play games from 11:30-12:30 and then serve pizza from 12:30 – 1.  Please feel free to bring any favorite games or snacks to share! Kindergarten Round Up: St. Stephen’s Lutheran School will be hosting Kindergarten Round-Up on February 7^th from 6pm until 7pm.  There will be a short meeting allowing parents the opportunity to get inside our classroom, meet the teacher, and get to know other possible parents and students.  We will have a short presentation on how the kindergarten enrollment process works and what our school has to offer.   If you have a child ready for Kindergarten this upcoming 
2019-2020 school year, feel free to stop by and collect some information, meet some friendly folks and maybe enjoy a cookie or two.

Women’s Ministry Retreat will be held at St. Lucas Kewaskum on Saturday, February 23^rd.  Registration fee of $17 includes lunch and presentations.  If you have any questions or to register, call 262-626-4749 or visit their website at stlucaswels.org. 

Family Explorer Outing will be today, Sunday, January 20^th from 3-4:30 pm at Beaver Dam Family Center.  Adults $6 with skate rental and children $5 with rental.  Bring the whole family for some family fun.
